Artemia is a small Animal. Phylum: Arthropoda, Subphylum: Crastecea, Class: Branchiopoda, Order: Anostraca that A.urmian reported from Urmia Lake. High hatching percent and little size of larvae obtained from those cysts could be shown that larvae have high quality. Various concentrations and type of ions in Artemia habitat affect this subject. The goal of in this research is: to study of effect, 30 ppt and 35 ppt concentration and type of ions in mine salt and extracted salt from Urmia Lake on Artemia urmiana hatching percent and nuaplii biometry, to be clear that are there any influence on applying difference salt with various concentration in these parameters? In addition, we can suggest an elementary profile to determinate ions effect on biology of Artemia by using ions chemical analysis. It is necessary to mention that hatching was done in 30 ppt and 35 ppt salinity. For decreasing error, each experiment was repeated three times. Finally, data were analyzed with Spss10 and it was shown: 1- More hatching happened in 35 ppt concentration that there is not any difference between types of salt. 2- The nauplii that obtained in 35 ppt concentration in the mine salt have little size in relation to other concentrations in this group and the group of Urmia Lake salt. With regard to, the best situation in this experiment is high hatching and the smallest size of larvae. Then we can say the mine salt with 35 ppt concentration is most excellent condition, also ion chemical analysis shown that extracted salt from Urmia Lake have eight times magnesium and quantity number of ions in each salt is the same.
